| Ok So i have been talking and thinking a while of running a game on my own mostly for our little group.
I have been thinking of a couple of setting and the way i like to play and run and systems im atleast vaguely familiar with.
at the mo i have 3 in mind but im open to any suggestions and i can place the game on most nights but i likely run them slightly earlier. bout an our or so. the following are the main candidates now
A d20 modern game Using the Urban Arcana Supplement however instead of having it set in the normal world that has fantasy elements 'invading' this will instead be set in a fantasy world that has reached the modern age. Currently im working on details on Fearun 1987
A D20 Modern (possibly with the mutants and masterinds supplements) Set and Based around the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoons and Films.
And Lastly A Vampire the Requiem/Werewolf the Forsaken game Set in Ancient rome Using the Requiem for Rome Supplement. I will be allowing Werewolves since Wolfs are quite deeply ingrained in roman mythology that it fit's quite well and i know some people don't want to play vamps. i might consider other supernaturals but i allready have quite a strugle understanding werewolfs, so i can't promise anything.
Thoughts? Votes? Opinions? |

| TMNT. Totally.
Aside: Mutants & Masterminds is a standalone game, based somewhat loosely on d20 but more reminiscent of effects-based games like HERO. It's not directly compatible with d20 Modern (though you could shoehorn it in if you really tried and hit it a few times).
Aside 2: d20 Future and d20 Apocalypse have rules for mutations, cybernetics, and robotics. If you're looking for post-human characters outside of the Moreaus in d20 Modern, you could use those.
Aside 3: Savage Species has anthros on page 214-217. Another option. Unlike the rest of SS though it doesn't present them on a level-by-level basis - ECL runs from 1-5, so you'd need to start at level 6 or summat and let people with a lower ECL take some levels to balance things out.

| Ok then done a bit o research, Mayhap we can scedule a time and set up a room to See to what rules we all wanna use in character gen an what kinda chars we want to play.
i'd like to Tailor my campaign to the characters instead of having the characters having to fit the campaign
i'll use the d20 modern rules and likely use a bunch of things out of the d0 future books and Urban Arcana (i Wuv the stuff in Urban Arcana)
Please give a good time to meet in Open RPG for you all i can make most days

| A few questions I want to throw out in advance- Do you have logs of any other games you've run that we could look at, so we know what your gaming style is like? Is the game to be set in the actual factual TMNT universe or just resemble it strongly? And are you familiar with the TMNT comics, the originals, as opposed to the cartoons and films? (For those who haven't read the comics, enlighten thyself - they're considerably grittier in tone, pretty much pulp adventure in NYC. The first four comics alone cover: ancient ninja clans, an army of autonomous hunter-killer robots, time-travelling wizards, and interstellar aliens that resemble anthro triceratopses. Triceratopi. Triceratos. Whatever.) | |

The main game i ran was a sortoff 'Rise of villains' sortoff campaign using an all monster party in which the party had to gather magical knowledge and partys to restore an ancient netherese magical tower superweapon kinda thing. The game is gonna be set in Detroit and while i'll try to make connection to the factual TMNT universe I'll likely for the most part do my own things that fit into the idea of that universe. I was a hardcore watcher of the cartoons when i was younger and read the first of the comics but didn't care much for the gritty stuff so i'll likely follow a much more light hearted tone more in line of the cartoon, cept for the violence probaly cause i like myself some physical description.
