A while back i seem to recall some unsurety on things like maximum carrying weight and such.
I did a bit of research and on page 215 of the main book i found the awnsers.
Add together your Strength bonus and Toughness bonus and look up the total number in the following table. (all in Kg)

Encumberment
You can exceed your carrying weight but no more then your lift weight. when you do you take -10 to movement related test and your Agility bonus is reduced by 1 for the pursoses of determining movement speed. Also After carrying this exceeding weight for a number of hours equel to your toughness bonus you must make a toughness test or gain 1 level fatigue
